Meagan & Jesse {Los Angeles Wedding}

Jesse is a friend of my husband's from the mission. When Jesse and Meagan got engaged and contacted me about shooting their wedding in LA I was pretty excited. I was excited to go back to LA (and its beautiful weather) where I had visited my husband a lot over the summer while he was interning in Beverly Hills and I was also was very excited to work with such a good looking couple. ;)

Meagan and Jesse had a beautiful ceremony in the Los Angeles California Temple. It is private and sacred and photography is not allowed. But I was able to capture them exiting the temple after being married and then do some Bride and Groom shots around the temple.

Other than it threatening to rain on us throughout the session it went great! I loved working with them. I told Jesse that I wish every groom was as relaxed and comfortable as he was. Most girls love having their picture taken but guys, not so much. Jesse was so relaxed and just happy to be hitched to his beautiful (emphasis on the beautiful) bride; it made for some fun images!

Loved that they wore converse just like my husband and I did on our wedding day!

Have to say I LOVED her rings. Very much my style.

Patrice & Brandon {A Scottsdale Wedding}

Ok everyone I am in the midst of trying to get a new blog/site up and running, but with my crazy buys schedule for the next 4 months or so it may be a little while.

But I will still try to post photos!

Chrysta & Jonny {Mesa Wedding}

I know Jonny from my old singles ward. And even though I didn't meet Chrysta until the night of their reception, I can tell she is so sweet! I am so happy for them and happy I could be there to document the celebration! :)

They had beautiful decorations. Especially the centerpiece you see in the background above. 

Unfortunately some of the candles got a little to close to the silver branches...

 BUT fortunately it got put out and re-done before the bride and groom even arrived!

So sweet the way she looks at him...

Patrice's Bridal Shower

Camille & Preston Sneak Peek (Safford Wedding)

This awesome couple has quite the story! They go way back to around 1998 or so. Back then Camille only knew Preston as one of her brothers friends, but over the years, between Camille setting up Preston with her best friend (who knew she was setting him up with the wrong girl?!), Camille moving to Cali, Preston living in New Zealand and Australia, then finally somewhere around the end of 2004 they both ended up back in Safford where they started dating and now here they are 5 and a half years later, happily married and totally awesome!

Camille made my job feel very little like a job. Her and Preston were both so laid back. Camille even got someone else's shipment of flowers (including purple, green, and yellow- none of which were in her color pallet) and was hardly upset by it. Did I mention everyone started clean up just in time for a massive storm to hit? It poured like I didn't know it could pour in Arizona. 

Thanks Camille & Preston for the opportunity to get to know you better and record this special day as you start your new life together! Best wishes for your future! :)

 I try to do a good mix of color and b&w photos on my blog posts but I am loving the b&ws!
