Aimee {Senior 2011}

She can do the splits, volunteers at the hospital even though she has a job at this delicious place. She has a new found passion for baking, is an aunt of 8 and even though she's headed for a career in dietetics, she can't wait to be a mother and wife, when the time comes.

Aimee was the winner of my Senior Giveaway from last fall. I am so glad I did the giveaway and so glad Aimee won it! Her sister-in-law Chaya, a friend of mine, actually won it for her. Thanks Chaya!

I LOVED working with Aimee. If it had been 10* cooler and we could have perfect light for hours on end I would have found  a way to keep Aimee there!

With every email I received from Aimee I got more and more excited to work with her. I could tell just by her emails how much fun she was going to be. And I was right! She was so much fun and such a sweet girl! She was willing to try so many things and even pushed the limits with some of her own ideas. :)

Thank you so much Aimee for letting me capture this exciting time in your life! I know you will do amazing things! Good Luck at ASU in the fall!

She had the cutest outfits. I was immediately jealous. And I'm afraid she thinks I am obsessed with her shoes...but then again, I might be...

Not all of us are blessed enough to have more than one expression that photographs well!
Aimee can do it all. Smile, laugh, serious, stunning, fierce.
D) All of the above.

Pretty sure I tried to get her to give me her sweater...

This girl loves to laugh.

I told you she had some ideas of her own! She jumped off that pole in the bottom left for these! :)
Gotta love a girl who is daring!

Thank you again Aimee! I hope I get to have you in front of my lens again!

Lindsey & Chantel {Sisters}

I had the chance to meet up with one of my favorite people to check out a new location. Lindsey and I met in an ASL class a few years back and we hit it off instantly. She is an amazing girl and I look up to her so much. :)

These girls were naturals in front of the camera!

Angela & Kam {Phoenix Engagement}

I know Angela from my first singles ward. She is a sweet, sweet girl. I am so happy she has found the one for her and I am so excited to shoot their wedding in San Diego in June! :)

These two are clearly in love!! They behaved as if I wasn't there! It was perfect. :)

This last one just might be one of my all-time favorite images.

School Pictures {North Phoenix Photographer}

Since school pictures are so expensive (and in my opinion so boring with that painted marble background!) my mom asked me to do some school pictures for the kids. So here are a few of my great-looking family!

I cannot believe how beautiful Liza is, how old Shmoopdee (Katie) is, how handsome Joeby is and how TALL Jake is. sheesh. When did they all grow up?

Adam just turned 16. Can't believe he can date and drive! Happy Birthday Adam!

Jake is tall. End of story he wears a size 13 shoe. 2 sizes bigger than our dad. Insane.

Liza is now in middle school and gorgeous. Unbelievable.

Joe is gonna be a stud. Trust me. He was workin' it for the camera.

Katie just turned 9. Her and Adam actually share the same birthday 7 years apart. Happy Birthday Shmoopdee!

The Best Model (professional head shots)

I had the fantastic opportunity this last Friday to do some head shots for a friend of mine. Why was this opportunity so fantastic? Well the subject of course! :) Her name in my phone book is "Keri AWESOME Lastname." (Does that not tell you how amazing she is?)
I know Keri through church and ever since we met I have loved her. She is the best model in all ways! Not only is she beautiful and fun to take pictures of, but she is beautiful on the inside too. She is such a strong person and so much fun. I have seen her go through a tough situation or two and take it all in stride with a smile on. When you feel like you should be comforting her, there she is speaking words of wisdom! Telling me things I have been just learning myself or even just trying to find the words for. On top of that she works for the Make-A-Wish Foundation helping kids' dreams come true!

Here are a few from our session. I promise I took lots of good professional looking head shots, but then we played!

Keri, you are amazing! Thank you so much for choosing me and giving me this opportunity to show everyone how fantastic you are. Thanks for the ice cream too, but most of all thanks for the friendship and being my RS buddy!
